About Suyana
Suyana has found immense liberation herself in overcoming fears and self-judgment, and watched her voice find the courage to grow over the years. She performed worldwide and shared the stage with musicians as Kevin James (AU), Shastro (IT), Luis Paniagua (SP), Mitsch Kohn (DE), Ayla (UK), Lulu & Mischka (AU), Mariana Root (PT), Gaiatrees (DE) and Yopi (DE), ao. |
Inspired by her personal transformation she started to share her voice-work since 2014, guiding circles in Austria, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, Peru, Hungary, Denmark, India, Italy, Portugal & Greece.
Apart from her singing circles and concerts, she currently gives voice - and transformational workshops, as well as a Voice & Sound-healing Training. In her private practice she offers Shamanic healing sessions.

I came to the workshop with the point of view of having a blocked voice. Instead of techniques to "fix" my voice I learned to see and to use the beautiful parts of my voice.
As a consequence, loads of blockages and shame dissolved naturally!
Such a wonderful approach! I loved the way you led us through moments of stepping out of the comfort zone in a playful and affectionate manner.

I think what makes it so easy to open up in your workshop is your loving and authentic presence. Opening one's voice is a very intimate process and you create a sacred space where one can sink down into the realm of the soul. You guided us through different phases of this process with thoughtfully chosen exercises, a mixture of challenges and playful experiences. What impressed me most on the first day was how strong a healing tool my voice can be. As I am personally going a path of healing for many years I was really touched when being of service using that tool and could feel the healing effect it had on me at the same time.
Between the different stages of our journey you made it easy for us to process and let everything sink in. Using your lovely voice you created a save space where one was taken back in time to a memory of being sung to by our mothers or grandmothers when we were small.
I realized or even remembered on this weekend how one's authentic voice is a reachable tool for us to express our truth and innermost feelings.

Singing is one of the most beautiful thing we can do in this life. What Suyana transmits during her « Opening of the Voice » workshop isn’t just to teach you how to sing, but to help you find your own Inner Voice which you’ll then be able to use for Healing. Healing through the Breath is a powerful and beautiful tool !
What I learned within 4 hours of workshop brought me so much. I’ve been intrigued to explore my voice because some spontaneous melodies come out of my mouth since I’m drumming with my medicine drum. Suyana showed me how, through breathing properly and fully, the sounds can resonate and vibrate in my heart while coming out in a way I would have never imagined. I would totally come back to explore my voice on a deeper level with Suyana and would recommend this workshop to everyone.
Opening our own voice isn’t easy but once we start, we feel better and more empowered to go through life with self-confidence. It’s also a kind of release. Suyana definitely helped me bring my own consciousness of the sound of my voice to the next level.

Throughout my life very few things have soothed the discomfort of being in my body. With the guidance of Suyana’s weekend workshop ‘Opening of the Voice’ I am continuing to discover the solace and comfort that singing can offer. Her teachings, exercises and practices are laced with a deep compassion for each individual regardless of the personal backgrounds and stories that accompany us.
Recently my vocal range has deepened significantly with thanks to sex changing hormone treatment, but it wasn’t until working with Suyana that I was able to truly celebrate this new depth of tone in my voice. The most freeing thing I kept realizing is that my voice doesn’t need to be trained to technical precision in order to have a deep emotional impact within myself or someone else.
Since the workshop I have created a daily practice of connection to my voice. This has become a precious time for appreciating my body and all the beauty it holds inside, regardless of how it may appear outwardly.
Opening of the voice has added fuel to a fire that was quietly burning inside me. My life is now gathering a lot of momentum down an unexpected, but inarguably beautiful path. The music inside me is slowly, but surely being revealed to the world.

“Suyana's workshop provided a safe space for me to explore my voice among a group of other people. Normally I don’t sing around others because it doesn’t feel natural to come out. But we did beautiful warm up exercises to really be in our hearts and learn how to use our voice directly from feeling our heart, so it felt natural and harmonious from within. "Like so many of the other participants, I had been silenced by experiences in my early life. I had lost confidence and joy in my own voice, and had forgotten what it feels like to let my voice ring out. As a young child, I still had that shameless, natural connection, but it dwindled and disappeared over the years.
Suyana's Opening of the Voice workshop created a safe, caring space where I felt free to explore my voice. Her exercises didn't just teach us voice lessons, but created a comfortable atmosphere where we could put aside our self judgement.
There was another aspect that was surprising and new to me: she taught us to receive each other's voices as well as give our own. Bathing in the joint and individual voices of the group was an unexpected and healing experience.
Overall, it was an energizing and joyful session that served to break down some of my inner walls. I'm looking forward to continuing on this path!
