The new moon marks the beginning of the moon cycle, and while the actual appearance of a new moon looks dark or empty, it is symbolizing fertile ground. It is a perfect time to reconnect with yourself, re-center, set intentions for the weeks to come, and to plant those seeds into the fertile ground of your consciousness. In this simple ritual, you can take some time out for yourself, to reconnect to your inner Self, and focus on which seeds you would like to plant and nourish in the times to come. Through Japa Meditation (repetitive chanting of mantra) we will quieten the mind and cleanse our energetic field, preparing the soil of our awareness to nurture those seeds of love and light that we are holding in our hearts. . . .
